The choir program here at Lakewood Ranch High School is a growing one. I am proud to be the director and I welcome you to view our classes and what we do.
Beginning Women's is for girls coming from middle school or who have never taken chorus. In this class, we learn basic theory, work hard on sight reading and sing three-part or more parts in music.
Both Intermediate and Advanced Women's choirs are meant for girls who have been in chorus at Lakewood Ranch for at least one year, or have auditioned. In this class we will dive deeper into music that is four or more parts making angelic light women chorus tones!
Men's chorus is designed for all guys who take chorus. In this class we can concentrate more on working with each individual part and forming cohesiveness among the men of Lakewood Ranch Chorus.
MustAng Cappella is an audition only Acapella group which was formed late in 2015. In the first year created, they went on to score superiors in district and in state MPA. We have very exciting things planned for this year!
